Swiping right the notification will open BlueMail on the new mail so you can act on it immediately. By swiping left you will be prompted with actions which you can do directly from the notification.

What Actions are Available on Notifications?

You can set the actions available for notifications by tapping More (o o o) | Global Settings | Customize Menus | Configure Action Buttons | Configure Notification Actions. There are two options available for you: Delete, Archive, Done, Read.
